Sunday... Wait, no... I need to find a new title now...

OK, yeah, that sounds like a good idea...  I mean, two bloggers is better than none!

Right, so...  Trash TV!  I agree that reality shows and soap operas are "trash TV", but I don't know what all you include in the former...  I personally include shows about high school and stuff (like Glee, Vampire Diaries, 10 Things I Hate about You, and so on) in the Trash TV category.  I loved the movie 10 Things I Hate about You, and even the first few episodes of the new show, but it just got bad fast...  As for Guilty Pleasures, I share your love for TV shows.  Unfortunately, I no longer have cable, and so I have access to only ~10 channels, and only 5 of them work.
Of those, however, 2 of them include guilty pleasures.  One of them is bad old movies (or maybe they're good ones, who am I to judge?) such as Child's Play, a bad ripoff of the TNMT, and Boy, Did I Get a Wrong Number!.  I mean, that channel literally plays nothing but old movies, cartoons, and the occasional TV show (The Famous Mr. Ed, for example).  One of my other "guilty pleasures" is the Bob Hope painting show... I'm trying to think of what it's called... At any rate, it's the one with "happy little trees".  xD  Love that show so much...  So... Yeah...  That's about it...
As for a new topic, how about something like...  Nerdy activities you do?

I don't actually do a whole lot of nerdy stuff...  I mean, I'm on the Science Olympiad, Simulation Games, and Chess teams, and I make glucose models for fun, but...  On Science Olympiad, I don't know what I'm doing most of the time, and just make guesses (a lot of which are actually right...), Simulation Club is just a fancy way of saying "wasting an hour and a half after school playing Settlers of Cataan and other such games", and in Chess Club, I'm killed every time I try to play...  I used to be semi-decent at chess, but not anymore.  Mostly, I just sit around at home watching tv on my computer or doodling creatures from books I'm reading.  Recently, I've been watching a crapload of Mythbusters and X-Files, but that doesn't really count as a 'nerd activity'...  As for building glucose models, it's the only science lab that I'm allowed to do at home which doesn't require actual chemicals to build.  I could probably be considered a theatre geek, as I do every play and musical which pops up at school, and I can quote most of them word for word...  I also read Shakespear for fun, but I still don't see why that's a "nerdy activity"...  Anywho, I gotta go.  Talk to you soon!

Monday...

I'm sorry. Last week I forgot to post.
And though its technically Sunday for me, I'm doing my post now.
Victoria, it seems to me that we are the only two left here on this blog.
I'm not really sure what to do. It seems like the blog is dead. I've been posting every week (excluding this past week) and slowly less and less people post. Now two out of seven remain.
I'm not really sure if we should just end the blog or what.
When you read this you can post your blog no matter if it's your day.
We can just post back and forth between us and at the end of each post state a new topic and then talk about that topic and the next person talk about the previous topic and make a new one.
Like two blog posts in one each time.
If we're doing that then I have a topic.
Trash TV/Guilty pleasure shows.
Here is my say on it:

I consider reality tv trash tv and I don't really watch it. I also consider soap operas trash tv. I can't say as much for them.
Right now my guilty pleasure tv show is Skins (UK version) I just started watching it yesterday and I can't stop. I've already almost finished the second season. My hope is to be caught up by the time the new season starts so that I can go on the internet and watch the episodes as they come out.
Also my other guilty pleasure is food shows. They are a guilty pleasure for me because I watch even the stupid ones and I always get hungry when watching them and end up eating candy or something.
I don't really have much else to say :)

Sunday Post: Is there anyone out there?

Hey guys, I just got on to check the theme this week so I could write something, but... No one's posted anything since sunday last week...  This isn't a dead project, is it?  :-(  I want to believe, but I can trust no one, even though the truth is out there.

Sunday Post: Re-synch

Hey all, sorry I didn't post last week...  Ummm...  Yeah, I'm still in.  Reintroduction time!

Hey, I'm Victoria!  I'm 14, and I love Star Trek, Doctor Who, Nightmare before Christmas, and other stuff...  So yeah...  My deviantart is Stephenkingftw, so note me there for my email.  I don't want to post it on a public site.  Ummm... Yeah... Check in...  My birthday was last week, so I'm 14!  Yay me!  I also just got my wisdom teeth out, so I can't eat meat and it's KILLING me... Soup is only good for so many meals in a row.........  So yeah!  I'm really excited because I got a *real* part in the musical as Wickersham #1.  Yay evil monkeys!  Talk to you all soon!

Bah!

Once again, I've failed to do my post on the correct day. Sorry!
Anyways, I also feel like we're all a little out of sync or something. How am I doing? I'm actualy doing pretty good. I'm doing okay in school and this week I'm getting a laptop. I'm a little behind in math homework but I'm trying really hard to catch up. We just started the four day week at my school and I'm really excited because tomorrow is the new Friday! Of course, Friday is now meant to be the new Sunday (the day I try to get all my homework done at tue last minute) If I finish all of my homework tomorrow then I won't have to be stressed about it all weekend. Also I get school off because Monday is Martin Luther King day. So, four day weekend! I've been a little mad at my teacher for duet acting because she's sort of being a crap to me, lucky for you guys, I'm feeling too lazy to rant.
I really think that for the rest of the week we should sort of "sound off" and do a little bit of role call to see who is still here and following and doing the blog. If some people want to drop out for whatever reason we can try to get a hold of them and let them leave without judgement. I'm sort of finding that I'm one of the few people who actually even posts every week. If people do leave then we can try and refil their days or move to a weekday only schedule. I know I'm not really the creator or leader of the blog, but I feel the need to sort of take charge and do some organizing.
So here's my little re-intro:
I'm Emilie. I'm seventeen and I'm from Texas. I'm a junior in high school and I plan on going to college in Virginia or maybe Arizona. After college I hope to move to LA and be roomates with my best friend Moriah. I love Dr Who and YouTube. I'm really into music and I'm always finding a new favorite. I don't have tv at home but I have hundreds of DVDs.
Okay that's all for me. I'm still very committed to this blog. Can't wait to hear from everyone.
Even if it's not you're day, you can still post. Once everyone has posted we can communicate through email or nerdfghters.
Sorry this post was so long.

There's a ghoul in the attic!

Hey there!

There's really not much for me stay in this entry. D: My life has been taken over by preparing finals and I've been sick this entire week. BUT! I'm feeling better now so that's good. I'm watching Aladdin later on and reading Grapes of Wrath. That's pretty much how I spend my time.
How are you guys?? I feel like we've been really out of sync with each other.
That's all for now.

DFTBA and a hardy hazzah!

Oh noes! David Tennant is engaged.

That's right ladies, our beloved Tenth Doctor has proposed to his girlfriend of two years Georgia Moffett.
When I first heard, I was sad, but he's way too old for me so I guess all I can do is wish them well.
I think it's funny that he's marrying her though, because she played his daughter.
Here is an article about it.
I wish it wasn't true, but alas, it is. Now I must go into a short period of mourning over the loss of my future husband. I know they've been going out for a long time, but anything is possible unless they get married.
Ah well, these things happen with grown up. They really aren't very reliable crushes when you think about it.
Anyways.
Sorry I'm posting this on Tuesday instead of Monday. I just forgot to do it yesterday.
Since this week doesn't really have a theme I'll just tell you a little bit of a life update.
I just started back at school this week. It hasn't been the most fun but luckily I don't have homework tonight.
I still haven't gotten my laptop and I'm not getting it until next weekend. Once I get my laptop it is very likely that I will be posting much more frequently on YouTube. I may even start a weekly vlog.
On another note. I may also be starting a weekly opinion/humor blog soon to get journalism experience.
If I do, I will definately link you guys to that. The reason for the blog is that I need to get some journalism experience for my future and since I can't really be in a newspaper I'm just going to do it my way.
If any of you have ideas for me to talk about you can send them to me in a message on Nerdfighters. I'm also getting ideas from family and friends from school.
That would be really helpful since I usually can't think of a topic to write on.
What I plan to do with the ideas is print each one I get on a little bit of paper and putting them in a bowl or cup. Whichever one I get each week is the one I have to write the blog about.
Anyways, that's all from me this week.
Have a good week everyone!

Sunday Post: Random Crap!

Soooooo HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!  As there's no theme, I may and may not rant and ramble about my newfound 'favorites'.  Chances are, I will.

Okay... yeah...  New favorite song: Bangkok/One Night in Bangkok from the musical Chess.  It is sung by Anthony Stewart Head's big brother, Murray Head.  I really want to see the musical, but they don't do it anymore... At least, not in the States... =(  I'd get the DVD, but the only one is in Swedish, and there are no subtitles. DX

Favorite TV show: Mythbusters.  I probably don't need to explain, but... Two words: Adam Savage.  I love him. XD Jamie's OK too, but Adam is freaking awesome.

... Is that all?  I think it is...  Oh well...  Have a nice week, everybody!

AHHHHHHH!

HI!
Sooooooooo, I don't know the theme this week but I'm gonna post anyways!! First, I hope everyone had a great start to their new year and I wish you all a healthy and happy year to come!!
And the second part of my post is that I drove a car today!! XD It was a little terrifying and a whole lot of fun. My dad tricked me by saying he was gonna go pick something up from his friend and then he pulled into an empty lot and was all "Ok, get behind the wheel." And then I tripped. I think my dad seconded guessed himself at that particular moment. Anyways, both us and the car came out unscratched.

Happy Trails and DFTBA,
Spiegs
