Do I believe in dreams? Yes. I have them quite often.
Do I believe they tell what you want, or your future, or anything? Meh... Sometimes. Depends on the dream. I've had dreams where the next day, things happen EXACTLY as they had in the dream.
Best dream? Getting a bit personal, aren't we? Ummmm... I'd have to say one of my more recent ones was the best... My dreams generally aren't very good... Anyways, my best dream in a while was... Wierd. I was attending my own funeral, and all of my friends were there, and they were crying, as expected, and my best friend went up to give a speech, and they basically said that I shouldn't have died that young, and that it just wasn't fair, and that there were so many who had loved me who would miss me, and then they reached into my casket, dragged out my body, and started performing CPR... >_> Apparantly, it was like in the Buffy episode where The Master drowned Buffy, but she was revived... And so I was alive again, and yeah... It was pretty wierd, but awesome, cuz I got to see my own funeral.
The scariest one I've had is a reocurring one that I have at least once a week... I'm just falling... Everything's black, and I'm just falling... It usually happens within five minutes of falling asleep, and I always wake up very startled and disoriented, and with my vision either fuzzy or gone altogether. Like those little white and black splotches you see if you squeeze your eyes shut and then press on them with your thumbs. Either that or the one had when I was five with the man-eating pancakes... >_> Yeaaahhhh... I don't know either. =p
Another really creepy/scary one I had was, again, when I was five or six. I was on a field trip with my class to the children's museum (or, at least, what was SUPPOSED to be the children's museum...), and there was this really cool jungle gym type thing, and me and my best friend decided to go in, and then when the rest of the class started to leave, we tried to get out, but all of the little play things came to life or something, and kept wrapping themselves around our arms and legs, keeping us trapped inside.
AAAND yet another creepy/scary dream! I was in Honduras over the summer when this one came up... We (and by we, I mean the 'beginner' group) were doing a deep dive (which you aren't even allowed to do until you're a 3rd year, I believe, soooo... :-/), and when we got to the bottom of the drop-off, there was a huge swarm of jellyfish (much like the one in Finding Nemo, only much more intimidating) that seemed to be guarding something, with three sharks circling it. Being the idiots that we are, we decided to go closer. Turns out they were guarding the friend mentioned above (whose name is Grant, btw). He was either in a trance-like state (like in Harry Potter 4), or he was quite dead. At any rate, this freaked the crap out of me, and I had a full-blown mental breakdown then and there. Then I woke up outside in the hammock to Moe's singing...
To answer Marisa's question, my dreams tend to be in color, but are occasionaly in grayscale or sepia. Sometimes they're tinted, and sometimes they're not. Sorry if that doesn't really answer it, buuuutttt... I don't really know what else to say...
Anyways, I have to go now, so... Talk to you all next week! -Victoria
