It's a Nerd's world after all!

Hello all! How are you all doing on this fine (rainy where I am) Saturday?? Golly wiz, this week is going to be (sing it): AMAZING!

What I nerd for, what I nerd for, there are so many things! Ok, let us see, I nerd for music, hats, Harry Potter, Rubik's Cubeing, acting enormously hyper and out of control. LITERATURE! I NERD FOR LITERATURE! What else?? DISNEY! Classic Disney! Oh! Of course, Stephen Colbert, Neil Patrick Harris, Spongebob, and last is not least and least is almost never said last, meaning that this is definitely not least (I'm also a nerd for rants/tangents) the (sing it again) Vlogbrothers of course!

Music. GAH! I love it so much. At this point in time I'm trying to think of the best way to convince my parents to let me learn to play the Uke. Not going so well. I'm also in beginning choir at my school I'm learning to read music after years of pretending I knew how too. :P Basically, music just makes me tick. I love Hank Green's stuff and I also listen to ALL CAPS, Tom Milsom, Alex Day, Alex Goot. Those are just the YouTubers. I love artists like Motion City Soundtrack, The Morning Benders, The Beatles,
Maroon 5... I could go on and on, but I won't for your sanity.

Oh, hats. I love them. I go through these really weird phases where when I get a new hat I won't take it off my head for a month. I sleep in it, eat in it, walk in 80 degree weather in it (most of time they're winter hats). I don't know I. Just. Love. Them!

Harry Potter. Well that's really all there is to say. I just a huge Harry Potter nerd. Right now I'm in the middle of re-reading POA. One summer I stayed in my room and read the series through seven times in a row, you know, for significance. :) Oh, also, Wrock of course rocks.

I love Rubik's Cubeing. It's just so darn relaxing... When you're not racing the clock.

LITERATURE!!! BOOKS!!! READING!!! It's my favorite thing! I adore 'Catcher in the Rye' mostly because I'm a sucker for reading between the lines and deeper meanings. Lit. Class makes me so happy! Last year I enjoyed writing essays for my English teacher. I love those "Ah ha!" moments when you figure something out. When you finally see the symbolism or catch that hint of irony. It's magical.

Classic Disney, you now, Aladin, Beauty and the Beast. A stuff from when Walt was in his early years, things like Silly Symphonies. I'm obsessed.

I feel like the other ones are kind of self explanatory... Stephen Colbert makes me laugh, Neil Patrick Harris is also hillarious, and Spongebob is well... Spongebob. And the Vlogbrothers, well they're the reason we're communicating like this aren't they?? :D

Have a Nerdtastic day
DFTBA,
Marisa
