Well, today is Monday. I guess since it's update week, I'll just say what's up in my life right now.
Not much. I have a boyfriend, which is unusual, since I never have a boyfriend. We were supposed to hang out today after school but we couldn't. I had to stay after for newspaper class since the deadline is tomorrow. I'm listening to NIRVANA right now. I love them.
I'm in a play right now (Alice In Wonderland) and the last show is this Saturday. I'm sad the show is ending, but I'm going to audition for another one as soon as I can. I'm really into acting right now. I don't really have much else to update on sadly, seeing as my life is monumentally uneventful.
I guess I could talk about newspaper, that's something I like. I just got my own column in the school newspaper and it was totally on accident. It's the humor column. You see, my English teacher (also my Journalism teacher) assigned our class a paper about obsession. At the time, I was majorly and totally obsessed with Charlie McDonnell. So, I wrote the paper about him. I was being completely serious and everything. It turns out my teacher thought it was really funny. And she asked if she could read it to the class, I said yes (forgetting all the dreadfully embarrassing things I'd written.) She read it to the class and they were all laughing, I was so embarrassed I got as read as a tomato. She decided that since the whole class thought my essay was funny that I should be the humor columnist and the obsession paper should be my first article. So now, I'm the humor columnist. I'm sort of excited about it.
Anyways, sorry for my boring story. When the paper comes out I might post my Charlie article.
And to your question Louise, I'm not really sure where hope comes from. I think it comes from faith. Not just faith in a god but faith in good. I think when you lose faith in the good of the world you lose hope. I know that it's impossible for me to hope when I don't see any good in life.
Also, Marisa there's this A Capella group called perpetual jazzile. They are amazing.
I'm posting a link of them just for you AFRICA
And Natalia, I also finally finished watching all the seasons of Dr Who this summer as well.
I cried too! Especially at Doomsday and The End of Time. I love Rose and Ten... They are my absolute favorite!
DFTBA - Emilie
