So, Christmas.
Well I'm visiting my uncle and aunt's in Washington D.C. They have three small children so life's been pretty chaotic. That's really all. We've been to tons of nice restiraunts and it's been very fun. I got some nice presents.
I don't really have much else to say.

Sunday Post: Christmas

I know it's a little late (1:13 on Monday morning), but I have a legitimate excuse!  Which I will get to later.

Christmas Eve, I woke up, got sick, finished reading The Dark Half by Stephen King, and played a crapload of card games with my brother and dad, starting with Kings and ending with Dick the Dealer (aka Up and Down the River).  It was really fun. ^_^  Then, after that, we each opened one present (volumes 1 and 2 of The Best of Star Trek the Original Series), and went to bed.

Christmas day, we woke up circa 3:30, waited for my older little brother to wake up (which he finally did around 6:30), and opened stuff.  Then, we ate a giant breakfast (belgian waffles with strawberries and whipped cream and sausage stuffs), watched Despicable Me, and went to Grandma and Grandpa's house.  There, my uncle, dad, brother and I watched Star Wars episodes 4,5, and 6 twice.

Day After: Woke up, cleaned, made Hanky Panky, and had 2 of my uncles over to play games.  We built a puzzle, played Family Feud for Wii, and Sonic and Mario Olympics for Wii.  We *were* going to play Nightmare before Christmas Monopoly, but they wanted to finish the puzzle. XD  After they left, Mom, Dad, my lil bros and I watched The Sound of Music, and when Mom and the little little brother went to bed, Dad, Ben and I watched 2 episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which brings me up to right now as I type this.  So... Yeah...  Perfectly legitimate excuse, right? =p

Happy Holidays!

Hey there!

I hope that everyone's having a great holiday season and that you all enjoyed your celebrations what ever they may be. :D

I'm Jewish so no Christmas for me... BUT! My aunt and uncle decided to schlep their three little tots, my sister, and I up to an indoor water park for xmas day because they figured "Hey! No lines!" So that's how I spent my xmas! It really was a ton of fun, I love my little cousins to an extreme amount and watching and playing with them in the water was really, a lot, of fun. 

On the holiday theme, I did have a fun Chanukkah. I lit the candles with my family and we exchanged gifts (I got the new Rick Riordan book, so good, and the 'HP and the Prisoner of Azkaban' DVD. Basically, I was incredibly excited!) We also ate Sufganiot or jelly doughnuts and Latkes which are one of my favorite foods ever! I love the holidays, they're always so delicious. XD

I feel like I shouldn't even be allowed to post here anymore

This is Aleta (that really odd person that posts at random intervals). Um, I really can't even explain why I've been gone for like a month. School is really tiring and I really don't have time for anything anymore yet I really don't wanna quit this blog. My vow is to stop quitting everything I start.
  Don't really have anything to say except have a good holiday (didn't want to say "Merry Christmas" because I don't know if everyone celebrates that). Yeah so that's all.

The obligatory christmas week.

This week just has to be christmas orientated, right? xD

I'm staying ay home with my Mum, sister, brother and my epic cat William. We'll have our full English fry-up for breakfast, open all the presents then I'll start christmas dinner. Hopefully the Father Ted christmas special will be on, the one where they get lost in the lingerie section of the store; we watch it every christmas day, without fail. We'll have dinner, I'll attempt to make my sister's presents work correctly then my Mum'll go to work(yes...she's working christmas night >.>)

I still have christmas cards to send out XD So if i'm sending you one...IT WON'T arrive in time XD

Ok so right now I'm at an airport waiting for my layover to Washington DC because I'm going there for Christmas. Anyways this is the opportune moment for me to do my blog. I almost forgot, so you all are lucky. Just joking.
It's like super hard for me to decide who my favorite is. I have a sort of hierarchy in my head and it sort of goes like this.
Charlie - Edd (I like them equally because I relate most to them)
Alex (He's really funny and I love his pervert jokes, he appeals to my darker side)
Tom (He's really funny and cute and a great musician but the fact that he's always attacking Christians and Americans on twitter is definitely a minus)
I'm sort of agnostic but I have a problem when anyone attacks another group of people because of what one or some of them did.
Anyways that's all because I have to do the plane now.

Sunday: YouTube Musicians

OK, well... There are only two youtube musicians that I like, so this is going to be majorly short...  I listened to SOA for a few songs, but have decided that I don't like 'em so much... 

#1. FreddeGedde.  His username is Freddie25.  His real name is Fredrik, and he has a few original songs that I really like, such as Beside Me and The Wayfarer, but he usually does compilations of little bits and pieces of theme songs (video games, TV shows, and cartoons).  There are, of course, others, but... I seriously love him...

#2. Olive857.  That's her username, and admittedly, I'm a bit biased because she's one of my classmates (since 1st grade...), so...  She writes a lot of original songs, and the lyrics -for the most part, at least- are really good, as is her voice.  I'm just going to put a link to her page... Hey guys!

First off, I just wanted to say sorry my posts have been kind of lame and/or non existent these past couple weeks, school kind of took over my life there for a while... BUT! It's time to move on because now I'm on Winter Brake and have unlimited time to write this post right here!

Is it ok if I kind of combine this week and last week's topic??
So, first I'm going to talk about websites and I'll get on to Sons Of Admirals later!

Ok, in my life I've realized that I go through obsessions with different websites, I can divide my life into different website sections... You see, it all started in the fifth grade when I got obsessed with Miniclip and that led to my Club Penguin phase. Then it was Facebook and finally I discovered YouTube... I'm still obsessed with that and I'm also really extremely into Tumblr right now.

Now for SoA. My favorite is probably Tom Milsom. But he's only like 0.5% above the others. :D I really love all of the songs that SoA have recorded so far and I really enjoy the four musicians individually too. Bassically, I think that they are FANTASTIC and that the band is FANTASTIC!

Alex Day

This is a really good topic. Whoever thought of it is a genious. HEHEHE.

OKAY, well. Where do I start.

At first my favourite SoA was Charlie. Actually. ..Wait. I mean as in like, not in the band, but as an individual. Anywho, my favourite one out of the four was Charlie. For one reason mainly. Because he was the first one I got to know. I fell in love with his videos at first sight; he was funny, he was cute, he was funny, and he was adorable. Heheh. I loved him. At first, I wasn't SO obsessed, but when I got to know Nerd Fighters the obsession grew. ACTUALLY. Wait. I don't know how to put this.

BASICALLY. One and a half year ago I watched one of Charlie's videos. I thought it was good. But I didn't subscribe. Now and then I'd run into his videos again, but I wasn't THAT big of a fan. A year ago or something, when I got a new Youtube account, I subscribed to him and began to be a BIT obsessed. I would watch his new  videos everytime there was one, but the obsession grew no bigger than that. There would be one or two times when I'd be bored and just watch his videos all over again and think about how cute he is, but other than that, nothing.

Then, I got to know Nerd Fighters. That was when the obsession grew. WELL not really grew. I mean, I wasn't THAT obsessed. I was just more interested in him. It happened during the summer holidays, when I was in Bayern. I had a dream about Charlie, and how he kissed me on a train - BEST. DREAM. EVER. That was when the obsession began. From that day on, I was in love. I was literally thinking about him 24/7 - LOL I KNOW HOW WEIRD THIS SOUNDS BUT YEAH. It was a good time. Then I watched his videos more often; I updated myself more on his life, as in like, I checked his website more frequently and stuff like that.

Then, I got to know who Alex Day was. That was when I was a bit confused. I mean, I loved Charlie, as much as someone could love some guy they've never met. I literally did. And I was a bit confused when I got to know Alex Day, cause well, he's awesome. He's perfect. I love his personality; I love the way he looks...I love him. So I was a bit confused on who I liked more. But then I got to know Alex a bit better through his videos and I came to realise, that Alex is awesome.

I love how funny he is. And I love the sexual jokes he makes at times, hehehe. And I don't know. I just love his character. He's adorable. And funny. And cute. And he sings so damn well. He seems like a nice person, and a person that I would easily get along with.

SO THAT IS WHY Alex Day is my favourite SoA.

Tom Milsom isn't that bad either. :) Like, when I saw him on StickAid I began to like him more. Eddplant is also funny; I love reading his formspring answers...

I love nerdfighters because I don't really know very many nerds in real life and I really enjoy the forums on there.

I go on here mainly for the forums. The General Discussion is the forum I like. I sort of just creep on these forums. I'm not really involved but they're fun to read.
•Twitter
I'm a twitter addict. I use twitter to creep on all of my fave YouTube people. And my best friend. I don't have very many followers on there but it's okay.
•Facebook
I use this to stay in touch with people I know in real life.

So, since mid-August, tumblr has been my main addiction. Seriously ADDICTED. It was down for like 26 hours or something on the 7th ¬.¬ I didn't know what to do, I actually went to my old blog and started ranting about stuff there! I used to be really addicted to deviantART, but not so much anymore, the same with youtube and nerdfighters. The sites just come in phases really...I should go now, I have a million christmas cards to make and post out.

Sunday Post Week 12: LAAAAA!!!

OK, so since we have no theme, I am proclaiming this to be a catch-up day.  Soooooo... My science teacher (the one that I've ranted about in a few of my previous posts) apparantly has a wife, and they adopted a baby girl over the thanksgiving break...  And he's been gone for 21/2 weeks...  So we had a replacement teacher (who we all hate) that didn't teach us what we needed to know for the test tomorrow... But now my REAL teacher's back, and pushed the test back a day so we can learn schtuff.  :)  I am extremely excited.  In fact, I was walking with one of my friends to class, and saw him walking in...  My voice cracked up by no less than three octaves when I said 'He's back!'.  It was rather loud. (>_<)  So... Yeah... I finished NaNo, and won for the first out of 3 years. =D  It makes me happy. :)  I think I'm about Dunn now, so...  C'ya!  Also, sorry for posting on Monday. (>.<) ~Victoria

I just wanted to tell you guys that I have had amazing dreams about Harry Potter for the last two nights. In the first dream Harry was played by this guy

That's not an excellent picture of him, but his name is Jake Sandvig and he was in Easy A and Fired Up and he's really cute. Anyways he was Harry Potter. The dream was the final battle between Harry and Voldemort but it occured in a two story house instead of Hogwarts. I don't know, it was weird but cool.
The second I don't really remember what happened but I know it was cool.

So...yeah

You're all right about not really getting to know each other, over the past few months I've gotten to know yous, some more than others. I mean like I talked to Bethanie a load over msn, and the same with Natalia: because of the channel we're on together.

So, this week I wanted to do some something about thanksgiving- as i believe it was thanksgiving on wednesday or thursday. But we don't all  celebrate it, as we're not all american. but i think we can still do something thanksgiving-y, it's to my knowledge that it's at this time you're supposed to say what you're thankful for...so let's do that? tell us what you're thankful for... the more stupid the things the better xD

Okay...so what I'm going to do from now on is stick to my day on a tuesday, announce the new theme then. Fridays will be free until further notice. Ofcourse there'll be now new theme this tuesday though xD it's all abit confusing xD

Okay so before I start, I have to say one thing; Emilie, I feel exactly the way you feel. About the whole Harry Potter, Childhood thing. Mehh. I mean, as happy as I am/as excited as I am to see the last part, I'm also kinda dreading it because it's going to be the end.

I watched the first part on Sunday. To be honest, I didn't find it THAT amazing. I mean, yeah..I did find it really good and stuff, but there were parts which were sooo boring. Oh, and I didn't even realise that it was like, three hours long. I thought it was like 1:30 long cause of the little action. But yeah, it was REALLY good and I'm REALLY excited for the second part to come out.

I'm currently doing a crossword.
OH btw, SORRY for not posting anything last week. Mehh. I think I was just too busy. :/
But my crossword is going well.
OH and it's started snowing here. Well not here where I live, but near to where I live. 10 minutes ago, or so?
I can't wait for snow! :)

So, it's Tuesday. I still haven't seen Deathly hallows, and probleys won't be until mid-December -.- But there we go. I guess it's not that big of a deal. It's just a movie, right? Yeah, I want to see it;  but like..it's not like I care that much. I'll be in much more of a fit about Star Trek VII, which comes out in 2012. I will most deffinatly be going to a midnight showing of that. And the London premier. I swear I WILL get to meet some of the cast. I swear down on my life.

It's Monday today.

I don't really have much else to to talk about today except Harry Potter.
I do have one request. Can people please start putting their names in the tags or at the end of the post. I get confused as to who is talking at times. Also if anyone wants my phone number to text me or something ask in the comments of this post or put yours in the comments.
I feel like I haven't really gotten to know anyone well. But also, if you don't want to that's okay. I understand if you don't want to for privacy reasons.
Anyways, this is going to be a sort of lenghthy post about HP because it's amazing. I went to see Deathly Hallows at the midnight release and that was fun. I disliked the part about the three brothers and a few other things, but in general I liked it.
I am excited for the second part but I'm also sad that Harry Potter is almost over. Harry Potter has been one if my favorite books since I was little. So much of my childhood has revolved around Harry Potter and now that he books already finished and the movies are coming to an end,I feel as though my childhood is ending as well.
I don't have a favorite character. I'm re-reading the series now that I'm older, so maybe I'll develop one. I'll get back to you on that. My favorite movie is Chamber of Secrets because I love the Bassilisk. My favorite book is Deathly Hallows so I was really hoping for an excellent movie. I don't have all or he books because I'm trying to get enough money to buy that trunk shaped box set. I don't have all of the movies, but I'm waiting for next Christmas because there will probably be a box set of all of them by then.
I can't really think of much else to say because I'm tired, so sorry for not saying more. I could think of tons more stuff, but not right now.

Sunday Post Week 11: Subject Unknown (again)

OK, well... There is no subject, and nothing going on in life, so...  Not even gonna bother writing much...  Just going to say that I highly disagree with Spiegs.  I also went to see it, and I found that it just... Wasn't up to par.  Especially because I went in with very high expectations.  (I'd heard from a friend who said it was AT LEAST a 9.5/10...  It wasn't.)

This is going to be EXTREMELY short, but I just wanted to say I saw 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows' just now (for the second time) and that if you haven't seen it yet you really should! It was so fantastic!! There were some flaws but I'm willing to let them slide. I think they fallowed the book really well... But thats just my opinion.

I'm not saying anything else in case of spoilers.

I have some bad news...

Well guys ...I have some bad news.

So...Bethanie got her job ^-^ But she's now too busy so blog here. She's rarely finding the time to update her personal blog(from what I remember of our conversation) So she's had to leave us. I'm going to say now that it's TOTALLY her decision-nobody else had a hand in it, from what I know of. But to cut long story short. Bethanie is gone. And to my knowledge is not coming back; though you never know.

So Friday is now free. I'm debating whether to *leave it free, to *take it and leave Tuesday free or to *get a replacement asap.  I promise I won't bring anyone new in, unless you're all good with it. I'm going to  post something on Nerd-fighters, Deviant Art,  and tumblr, in a mo. And I'll also mention it to the guys I do colab vlogs with. There is this one person, I really want to bring into the project...but...meh, xD (Yes...you know who I mean, Natalia)

I'll see you guys on Tuesday, when I know more about the situation, and I should have a definate plan of action by Friday; which I will all inform you of. So, that's me off.

I realized that I've missed two weeks in a row and this post is also a day late, but my stupid English teacher gave me a detention because for her class we have to make a blog on blogger and since we were in the tech center on Wednesday I logged onto this blog and tried to post, but she locked my computer out and gave me a lovely detention which my parents freaked out over and took my laptop for a week. Which is why I've missed two weeks in a row.
  Um, as far as youtube I like nerimon, charlieissocoollike, ijustine, fiveawesomegirls, and my friend Ravin's SIMS series.
  I'm guessing that this week is just an update which I believe I did that first and since I'm posting this from my phone it's really frustrating so this is pretty short. I will try to be more prompt in the future.

It's Monday. My three day weekend was great.
I don't have much to say.
My ex boyfriend got a haircut and he's really cute. But he's rude, so I'm not going out with him again.
Anyways. My original post was really short because I dont have wifi at my house right now.
Im adding more right now.  I wanted to say that I have like a ton more YouTube people I like that I totally forgot about. I would mention them right now, but I'm too lazy.
Okay fine I'll mention one, danisnotonfire, he is beautiful. I love him in a non-creepy stalker way...
I really don't have much else to say actually, I just couldn't leave you guys with such a short and insubstantial post. So now I've added more.

Sunday Post Week... 11?: Subject Unknown

Alrighty, well... As promised, this blog IS on time.  But there's no suject for the week (>_<) and so I'm going to use this chance to write a general life blog.

This month, I am participating in a seemingly impossible contest called Na(tional)No(vel)Wri(ting)Mo(nth) in which you have 30 days to write 50,000 words.  It is slowly devouring my soul as well as what's left of my sanity, but it's sooooo addicting!  I've participated in NaNo for the past four years, and I just can't stop!

In other news, science is freaking amazing.  I don't know if I've said this yet or not, but my teacher has pointy ears. XD  It amuses me to no end.  Aaaaah...  I get so much comedy material from science class it's not even funny.  Except that it is.  Hilarious.  A couple examples are "Everyone go put on some Heroin Goggles." (our spectroscopes weren't working, so we used those cheap 3D glasses you get in video game boxes that make everything look like you're on drugs) and "That is a man wearing a sombrero cooking eggs.  From above.' 'Are you sure you weren't dropped on your head as a baby?  I was.  Look how I turned out!" (I'm not even going to bother giving you context for that one).  He's also the Jazz Band director, and plays guitar.  He is officially tied to be my favorite teacher EVA!  The other is the simulation club proctor, as well as a history teacher.

To Spiegs, my parents would flip if they knew I was on here too.  Or deviantart.  Or twitter.  Or NaNoWriMo. =p

Hello all!

Ok, so first I want to say sorry for not posting last week. Normally it's highly unlikely to forget these types of things but I had a get together with some girls in my Youth Group thing (mind you, I would have much rather been at home typing this post) and I didn't get home until very late. In fact, I fell asleep on the train and almost missed my stop... Thankfully, my stop was the last stop so the conductor woke me up while doing a quick up down of the cart. (I kind of felt like I was Harry under the invisibility cloak and the conductor was Tonks rescuing me). 

ANYWAYS! I figured since I don't know the theme for this week I would just write about YouTube because I didn't get to last week! Don't you love how things work out? :P

Sooooo, my favorite vlogers have got to The Vlogbrothers of course!
